Buying or selling a property can be one of the most stressful times in your life. Buying a property can be one of the largest transactions you will complete in your lifetime. You need to make sure that everything is properly executed. This includes ensuring that the Contract has been properly prepared by the Vendor's Solicitor and that there are no hidden surprises. It is also crucial that when you list and sell your Home the Contract of Sale takes into account your needs.

Prior to listing your Property with the Agent
We can also advise a potential vendor prior to signing a Sales Agency Agreement. There are matters in dealings with Agents that are all too often overlooked by the Vendor in the fine print. If you are at all unsure about any aspect of the agency agreement, do not sign, and see us at JLP for advice first!
Property Disputes
If you have a dispute over a property we can help you protect your interest. Whether a Caveat has been registered against title to your property, a dispute over outstanding mortgage or other debts, or a failure to comply with a prior agreement, we can advise you as to how to resolve the issue.
Leases
If you are leasing you need to make sure that you are getting a fair deal. At JLP we can look over commercial Leases or Rental agreements to make sure that there are no onerous clauses, which may cause problems or unanticipated financial pressure down the line.
At JLP we can also prepare an appropriate Lease document for you, tailored to your particular premises or individual lessee.
